Herbs for Hair Removal:

Fenugreek: This herb has been used by women in order to induce childbirth and relieve menopausal symptoms. Fenugreek is also known to reduce symptoms of hirsutism. The usual dosage is 2.5 g twice a day in the form of a capsule.

Saw Palmetto: This herb has anti-androgenic effects and is considered as an herbal remedy for some hair problems, including hirsutism. To achieve best results, take 160 mg of saw palmetto extract twice a day.

Chasteberry: Chasteberry, also called chaste tree, has been utilized by women in order to promote the production of breast milk as well as relieve troubles related to menopause and menstruation. Chasteberry can also help get rid of unwanted hair growth as a result of its anti-androgenic effects. Using 20 to 40 mg before breakfast on a daily basis can help reduce the symptoms of hirsutism.

Black Cohosh: This herb is sometimes suggested to lessen the symptoms of hirsutism. It also helps prevent unwanted hair growth because of its anti-androgenic effects.

Some natural remedies to lessen hair growth:

Turmeric: Besides its use in Indian cuisine, turmeric has a long history of being used in health and beauty remedies. To reduce the growth of hair, you must first tweeze, shave or wax the area that you want to keep hair-free. Now, mix some turmeric powder, aloe vera gel and lavender oil, and apply the paste against the growth of hair in a circular motion. Leave this on for around 20 minutes and repeat this thrice a week for up to 3 months. You will notice that the hair will grow back slower, finer and thinner. You might even notice that the hair will not grow at all as long as you continue to use the paste.

Almond Oil: Almond oil contains constituents that reduce hair growth. As was done in the turmeric remedy, apply almond oil after a shave, or a tweezing or waxing session. Repeat this a few times a week and notice the reduction of hair growth.

Hare’s Ear Root and Beefsteak Plant: Both these plants have scientifically been proved to reduce hair growth.

Other Herbal Products for Hair Removal:

A lot of products claim that they are herbal and all natural remedies for hair removal and reducing hair growth. Some of these products include Kalo, Gigi, Superfluous Hair by Roots Herbal and Ultra Hair Away.

Even though the herbal remedies and products mentioned above help in hair removal and inhibit hair growth, some allopathic medications like Vaniqa can also prove to be quite beneficial.

Vaniqa is the first and the only prescription cream which has been clinically proven to inhibit as well as control the growth of unwanted facial hair amongst women. It is approved by the FDA and highly recommended by dermatologists. This cream interferes with a chemical present in the hair follicles of the skin which in turn leads to slower hair growth where it is applied. Vaniqa is used to inhibit unwanted facial hair in women. However, it does not permanently remove or cure unwanted facial hair.

It is advisable to consult a doctor before using Vaniqa, or any of the herbal remedies mentioned above.

The very next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesn’t fail me just as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read through, however I actually believed you would have something useful to say. All I hear is a bunch of complaining about something you could possibly fix if you weren’t too busy looking for attention.
