Imiquimod is a biological response modifiers, used in treatment of skin conditions and basal cell cancers.

Depending on the skin condition being treated, your health care professional will recommend the dosage and application times, please take exactly as directed. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after application.

If you notice any of these symptoms or any other symptoms which are severe or persistent inform your health care professional.

Skin Infection/Rash/Severe skin reactions
Burning/Itching
Change of skin color
Pain or swelling of the skin
Fever
Headache

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to imiquimod or any other medication in any other form. Also inform your doctor if you are taking any other medication in any other form whilst taking this medicine.

Inform your healthc are professional if you are breast feeding or pregnant and if you have recently had any surgery or any other skin treatment.

As per your doctors advice, apply your next dose as directed, do not double applications to make up for a missed one. Follow the schedule as directed by your doctor.

Store at room temperature below 25 degrees C (77 degrees F), away from heat and light, do not freeze.

Keep all appointments and be regular for check ups that your health care professional advises of.
Avoid sexual contact, skin to skin contact while medication is on the treatment area.
