Candesartan belongs to the drug family known as angiotensin II inhibitors.It lowers elevated blood pressure. Candesartan helps prevent heart stroke, heart failure, or damage your kidneys caused by high blood pressure

Take exactly as directed by your prescriber. This medication can be taken with or without food and is ideally swallowed whole with a glass of water.

If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe or persistent, contact your doctor immediately.

Back Aches
Sore Throat
Difficulty in Breathing
Difficulty Swallowing
Rash
Palpitations of the heart
Lightheadedness

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medicine or any other medicine in any other form.

Diuretics(Water Pills)
Any other blood pressure medication(s)
Lithium
Potassium(Salts/Supplements)

Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medication(s) at this time.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Do not take this medication if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to concieve. If you concieve whilst on a course with this medication, consult your doctor immediately.

Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had :

Kidney Diseases
Liver Diseases
Heart problems
Diabetes

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

This medication is used to help lower elevated blood pressure.

Store at room temperature between 15—30 degrees C (59—86 DegreesF), away from light and moisture.

Consult your doctor about your diet. He may prescribe a low sodium diet.

Keep a constant check on your pressure.

If you are going in for any kind of surgery inform your doctor you are taking this medication.
