Furthermore, Aventyl (Nortriptyline) interacts with various medications, such as Warfarin, Diazepam, Levodopa, Zolpidem, Sibutramine, Flecainide, Citalopram, Sertraline, Amphetamine, Paroxetine, Methylphenidate, Albuterol, Cetirizine, St John’s wort and Disulfiram.

Lastly, Aventyl (Nortriptyline) interacts with various medications, such as Phenytoin, Diphenhydramine, Codeine, Isocarboxazid, Moclobemide, Phenelzine, Linezolid, Procarbazine, Rasagiline, Selegiline, Tranylcypromine, Fluvoxamine, and anticholinergic and sympathomimetic medications.

In case of an overdose of Aventyl (Nortriptyline), call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Furthermore, symptoms of an overdose of Aventyl (Nortriptyline) may cause one to experience extreme drowsiness, hallucinations, palpitations, fainting spells, slow or shallow breathing and seizures.

Lastly, while on an ongoing course of Aventyl (Nortriptyline) you must avoid an intake of grapefruit in any form, such as grapefruit juice, unless your health care professional has allowed you to do otherwise. Grapefruit increases the amount of this medication in your bloodstream.
