Furthermore, Betaxolol Opthalmic may cause the patient to experience fainting spells, an increased sensitivity towards light (especially the eyes), drowsiness, lethargy, wheezing, an increase in thirst, changes in the amounts of urine excreted, chills, a tingling sensation or numbness of the hands or feet and disorientation.

Sometimes, Betaxolol Opthalmic Solution interacts with various medications, such as Reserpine, Bisoprolol, Labetalol, Metoprolol, Nadolol, Penbutolol, Atenolol, Pindolol, and Propranolol.
Furthermore, Betaxolol Opthalmic Solution interacts with various medications, such as Sotalol, Chlorpromazine, Haloperidol, Mesoridazine, Thioridazine, Diltiazem, Epinephrine and Amitriptyline.
Lastly, Betaxolol Opthalmic Solution interacts with water pills, high blood pressure medication, heart rhythm – control medication, medications used for colds and breathing complications, medications for diabetes and MAOIs.
In case of an overdose of Betaxolol Opthalmic Solution, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.
