Dianette

Cyproterone (Dianette) is a form of hormone therapy,called an Anti-androgen. It limits the amount of testosterone that is absorbed by prostate cancer cells.

Stabbing pains on breathing/coughing
Unusually severe headaches
Migranous headaches
Swelling of the legs

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Inform your health care professional if you are pregnant or breast feeding prior to starting a course with this medicaiton.

Inform your health care professional if you are smoker.

This medicine is not for use in men.

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Dianette is used to counteract the symptoms of androgenozation and also as a contraceptive.

Inform your doctor is you have or have ever had :

Any thromboembolic disturbances in the past
Breast/Endometrium Cancer
Dubin Johnson Syndrome
Sickle Cell Anaemia
Rotor Syndrome
Liver Disease
Diabetes
Jaundice
Herpes

If you notice a rise in your blood pressure, contact your health care professional immediately.

Inform your health care professional about any and all unusual pains/swelling that occur and do not dissapear spontaneously within a short time.
