Letrozole belongs to a class of medicines known as aromatase inhibitors. It helps to block the formation of the hormone estrogen. Some types of breast cancer need estrogen, and letrozole stops tumor growth by decreasing estrogen levels. Letrozole is for the treatment of breast cancer in postmenopausal women only

This tablet is to be taken orally; and maybe taken with or without food. Consult your health care professional for dosages and take exactly as directed.

Chest pain
Hot flashes
Loss of hair
Weight gain
Constipation
Appetite loss
Stomach ache
Back/bone pain
Nausea/vomiting
Leg pain/swelling
Cough/Throat infection
Diarrhea or upset stomach
Difficulty Breathing/Dizziness

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

Androstenedione
Any estrogen containing medicine (may include some herbal products)

Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.

If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.

If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.

Do not treat yourself with any OTC medication without consulting your health care professional.

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

This medicine is primarily used for the treatment of breast cancer in post menopausal women.

Store at room temperature between 59 to 86 degrees F, away from heat and moisture.
