Flonase

Flonase is a corticosteroid nasal spray.

Flonase (Fluticasone propionate) may also be described as a white to off – white powder that almost does not dissolve in water and is an aqueous suspension of Microfine.

Moreover, Flonase (Fluticasone propionate) freely dissolves in Dimethyl Sulfoxide, Dimethylformamide and partially dissolves in Methanol.

Further more, Flonase (Fluticasone propionate) practically dissolves in Ethanol.

Take exactly as directed.

If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which seem severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.

vomiting
frequent nosebleeds
stomach pain
unusual tiredness or weakness
white patches/sores in the mouth or nose
light-headedness
nausea
blurred vision/other vision change
dizziness

Sometimes, Flonase (Fluticasone propionate) may even cause nasal dryness, an itching sensation, wheezing, fever, body swellings and severe nasal pain.

Moreover, Flonase (Fluticasone propionate) may even cause a severe sore throat, severe rashes, persistent headaches, increased urination, back pain, hives and Pharyngitis.

Furthermore, Flonase (Fluticasone propionate) may even cause Epistaxis, Anaphylaxis, Bronchitis, blood in nasal mucus, unexpected weight loss, pain while attempting to swallow a morsel and white patches at the back of one’s throat.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

Sometimes, Flonase (Fluticasone propionate) interacts with various medications, such as, oral Prednisone, inhaled Triamcinolone and Natalizumab.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Inform your doctor if you have or have ever had :

tuberculosis infection
herpes infection
fungal infection
nosebleeds
chickenpox infection
asthma
have been taking other corticosteroids

It is very important for the patient to know that before consuming Flonase (Fluticasone propionate) they must inform their health care professional if they have ever had a history of or are currently suffering from nasal ulcers, decreased functioning of the adrenal gland, Glaucoma, a nasal surgery or liver diseases.

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose. Consult your health care professional about your missed dose.

Flonase treats nasal symptoms of indoor and outdoor allergies like itching, sneezing, congestion, and runny nose due to allergy and other causes.

Flonase (Fluticasone propionate) is also used to help reduce and treat nasal passage swellings, postnasal drip, a stuffy nose and nasal passage inflammation.

Store at room temperature away from heat and moisture.

If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.

If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.
