Glyco-A

Glycolic acid is a natural exfoliator. It helps the skin shed its outermost layer of hyperpigmented skin cells more rapidly.

While other prescription-strength hydroquinone products contain this ingredient, their percentage of glycolic acid is lower than the amount found in Glyco-A.

It is important to note that the exfoliating action of glycolic acid also may help diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Glycolic acid is even used to help treat severe acne, skin bumps, reduce skin discoloration, improve appearances of sun damaged skin and fight skin aging.

Glyco-A should be applied to the affected areas twice daily or as directed by your doctor.

You can use Glyco-A on your hands, chest, back and wherever you have hyperpigmented skin. Be sure to rub Glyco-A in well.

Wash your hands thoroughly before and after every application.

If your doctor has recommended that you use other skin care products in addition to Glyco-A, please wait 20 minutes before applying them. This will help ensure that Glyco-A is properly absorbed and will not be rubbed off.

Initially, Glycolic acid may cause temporary redness, skin irritation and a severe itching sensation.

You skin might get hypersensitve. Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight.

It is important for the patient to know that Glycolic acid must not be applied to the eyes, Mucose tissues or open wounds.
