Inderal (Propranolol) may even be described as a white, crystalline solid which is stable by nature and moreover, which dissolves very easily in water and Ethanol.

Propranolol medicine is a beta blocker used to treat high blood pressure and angina pectoris (chest pain). It is also used after a heart attack.

This medicine is also used to prevent migraine attacks and to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.

Propranolol helps control your condition but will not cure it.

Do not cut, crush, or chew extended-release tablets; swallow them whole. Dilute the concentrated oral liquid with water, juice, or soft drinks, or mix it with applesauce or pudding just before taking it.

Follow the directions on your prescription label carefully, and ask your doctor or pharmacist to explain any part you do not understand.

Take propranolol exactly as directed. Do not take more or less of it or take it more often than prescribed by your doctor.

SIDE EFFECTS, that may go away during treatment, include mild drowsiness; lightheadedness or dizziness; or unusual tiredness or weakness. If they continue or are bothersome, check with your doctor. Inderal (Propranolol) also interacts with various medications, such as, St. John & apos;s Wort, Fluoxetine, Paroxetine, Fluvoxamine, Ritonavir, Rifabutin, Carbamazepine, Insulin and Glipizide.

Inderal (Propranolol) also interacts with various medications, such as, Clonidine, Hydralazine, Methyldopa, Reserpine, Glyburide, Epinephrine, Haloperidol, Amiodarone and Digoxin.

Inderal (Propranolol) also interacts with various medications, such as, Disopyramide, Propafenone, Quinidine, Furazolidone, Isocarboxazid, Linezolid, Moclobemide, Phenelzine and Procarbazine.

Inderal (Propranolol) interacts with various medications, such as, Rasagiline, Selegiline, Tranylcypromine, Mefloquine, Rizatriptan, Theophylline, Levothyroxine, Amitriptyline and Warfarin.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Symptoms of overdose may include slowed heartbeat and dizziness and weakness especially upon standing.

It is very important for the patient to know that before consuming Inderal (Propranolol) they must inform their health care professional if they have ever had a history of or are currently suffering from Raynaud & apos;s disease, Sinus Bradycardia, second or third degree atrioventricular blockages, a severe heart failure or asthma.

Moreover, it is very important for the patient to know that before consuming Inderal (Propranolol) they must inform their health care professional if they have ever had a history of or are currently suffering from bronchitis, Emphysema, Wolff – Parkinson – White syndrome, Pheochromocytoma or Myasthenia Gravis.

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose. Consult your health care professional about your missed dose.

Inderal (Propranolol) is also used to help treat Hyperthyroidism. This medication is sometimes prescribed for other uses; ask your doctor or pharmacist for more information.

Store it at room temperature and away from excess heat and moisture.

DO NOT STOP TAKING THIS MEDICINE without checking with your doctor.

THIS MEDICINE MAY CAUSE drowsiness or dizziness. Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything else that could be dangerous until you know how you react to this medicine.

BEFORE TAKING ANY NEW MEDICINE, either prescription or over-the-counter, check with your doctor or pharmacist. This includes any medicines used to treat colds or congestion.

IF YOUR DOCTOR HAS INSTRUCTED YOU TO CHECK your blood pressure and heart rate regularly, be sure to do so.

FOR WOMEN: IF YOU PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your doctor the benefits and risks of using this medicine during pregnancy. THIS MEDICINE IS EXCRETED IN BREAST MILK. IF YOU ARE OR WILL BE BREAST-FEEDING while you are using this medicine, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.

FOR PATIENTS WITH DIABETES MELLITUS: This medicine may mask signs of low blood sugar such as a rapid heartbeat. Check blood glucose levels regularly.
