Losec

Losec (Omeprazole) may be described as a proton – pump inhibitoris and is used to treat certain conditions, pertaining to the formation of excess acid within the stomach. Furthermore, Losec (Omeprazole) also interacts with various medications, such as Ketoconazole, vitamin B12, Folic acid, Calcium, Phenytoin, Iron, Diazepam, Pimozide and Terfenadine.

In case of an overdose of Losec (Omeprazole), call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Be sure to keep all appointments with your health care professional and the laboratory. Your health care professional will order certain laboratory and/or medical tests to be performed to check your response to Losec (Omeprazole), monitor your progress and check for side effects.
