Inform your doctor if you are taking any anti coagulants such as Agrylin, ReoPro,Warfarin, NSAIDs such as Pletal, Plavix, Ibuprofen, Integrelin, Aggrastat. If you have epidural or spinal anesthesia/puncture, whilst taking such a medicine as Enoxaparin, it could cause you to become paralysed. Speak with your doctor about the risks of taking this medicine. If you experience leg weakness, numbness, paralysis, tingling, and loss of control over your bladder or bowels, inform your doctor immediately.

Enoxaparin is sometimes referred to as a blood thinner, but is acually an anti coagulant, i.e. it decreases the ability of blood to form clots. This medicine belongs ot a class of medicines known as Low Molecular Weight Heparins, which work by stopping the formation of substances that are responsible for clotting.

Special care may be needed regarding the use of this medicine in children. Contact your pediatrician for more information.

Consult your physician on how to inject yourself, or take a family member along to so they may be trained in how to do the same. Use exactly as directed by your physician. Do not rub the injection site after you take the shot. Do not exceed the dose prescribed by your doctor.

If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which are severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.

Blood in the urine/Coughing up of blood
Redness/Burning at the site of injection
Heavy bleeding during menstruation
Swelling of the feet/ankles
Unusual bleeding/bruising
Breathing Difficulties
Tarry/Bloody stool
Nosebleeds
Diahearra
Fever

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

NSAIDs
Asprin like medicines
Asprin
Omega 3 fatty acid supplements
Blood thinners
Any other anti coagulants
Any herbal products that contain garlic, ginger, gingko, feverfew, horse chestnut

Inform your doctor about any other medication you may be taking in any other form.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

If you conceive whilst on a course with this medication inform your doctor immediately.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to conceive.

If you need to undergo any kind of surgery, inform your doctor you are taking this medicine.

In case of any emergency carry some identification stating your condition, name of medication & health care professional & contact number for the same.

Inform your health care professional if you suffer from any allergies of any kind, pork and/or pork products.

Do not double dose to make up for a missed shot. Take the next shot as scheduled. Try not to miss any shots.

This medicine is used to treat existing blood clots in the lungs/veins. It is also used to prevent blood clotting after abdominal/knee/hip surgeries.

Store at room temperature below 25 degrees C (77 degrees F); do not freeze. If your injections are specially prepared you may need to refrigerate them, consult your pharmacist or health care professional for more information.

Ulcers/other bowel disease
High blood pressure/Stroke
Inefficient kidney function
Hemorrhage/Heamophilia

Bleeding disorders
Delivery of a baby
Breast Feeding
Recent surgery
Liver disease
Diabetes
