Symmetrel

Symmetrel can be taken with or without food. Take exactly as directed and swallow whole with a glass of water.

If you notice any of the symptoms listed below or any other symptoms which are severe or persistent, contact your doctor immediately.

Hallucinations
Rash
Convulsions
Spotting of the skin
Suicidal Thoughts
Depression

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

Depression medication or other mental illness
Alcohol
Triamterene
Caffeine
Haloperidol
Bupropion
Hydrochlorothiazide(HCTZ)
Allergy medication
Metoclopramide
Quinine
Sulfamethoxazole
Quinidine
Trimethoprim

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

If you concieve whilst on a course with this medication, inform your doctor immediately.

Inform your doctor if you have

Glaucoma
Blood Pressure
Heart Disorders
Kidney/Liver Disease(s)
Depression
Seizures
Eczema

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

It treats certain infections related to infuenza and also muscle control/stiffness associated with Parkinsons.

Consult your doctor for more information on the same.

Store at room temperature between 15 and 30 degrees C (59 and 86 degrees F).

Do not drive or operate machinery till you know how this medication affects you.

Do not breast feed.

Avoid alcohol and alcoholic drinks.
