This medication is an anti convulsant and also helps with other issues.

It helps in control of epileptic seizures, pain due to shingles, nerve pain related to trigeminal neuralgia.

Consult a pediatrician for the use of this medication in children.

Swallow whole with glass of water. Take exactly as directed and do not stop taking suddenly.

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to the formulation of this medication or any other medication in any other form.

Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medication in any other form for any condition especially if taking medication for a similar condition.

In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222. If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911.

Do not drink grapefruit juice whilst taking this medication. Consult your doctor for more information.

This medication may decrease the blood cell production in your body to an extent so as to cause serious or life threatening health issues. Inform your doctor if you have decreased number of blood cells as a result of taking any other medication.


Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, breast feeding or planning to concieve.

Do not double doses to make up for a missed dose.

Store at room temperature below 30 degrees C (86 degrees F).
