Temovate is prescribed for certain skin and scalp conditions such as itching, scaling, redness, flaking.
How To Use Temovate
Apply the ointment on the affected areas in a thin layer and gently rub it in till absorbed by the skin. Make sure your hands are thoroughly washed before and after every application.
Contact your pediatrician for use in children.
Temovate Side Effects
Skin Scaling
Extreme Irritation/Redness in the area(s) of application
Swelling
Blistering of the skin or in hairfollicles
If you notice any of the above symptoms or any other unusal symptoms which are severe/persistent contact your doctor immediately.
Temovate Interaction
Inform your doctor about any allergies that you may have to any medication in any form.
If your are under teatment for any other skin or scalp conditions, inform your doctor about the same.
Temovate Overdose
If the victim has collapsed or is not breathing, call local emergency services at 911. In case of overdose, call your local poison control center at 1-800-222-1222.
Temovate Notes
This medication is prescribed for use for 2 weeks maximum at one time. Do not use longer than that.
If symptoms do not improve afterthe course of the treatment, consult your doctor for further information.
If clobetasol gets in your eyes wash away with cool tap water and consult your doctor.
Temovate Missed Dose
Do not double applications to make up for a missed application.

Temovate Storage
Store at room temperature away from heat and light, do not freeze.
Some of these products may be flammable.
Temovate Precaution
This ointment is meant for external use only. If used in large amounts it can be harmful.
Do not dress the affected areas after ointment application with gauze or bandages or any other type of covering.
If you are pregnant or breast feeding, inform your prescriber.
